Kalimpong, a beautiful hill station in West Bengal, is popular for its scenic surroundings, churches, and monasteries. Just like Darjeeling and Kalimpong, Gangtok to marvels its visitors with its unusual treasures such as Tsomgo Lake, known to reflect different colors based on the changing seaso.
On arrival at NJP railway station/Bagdogra Airport, transfer to Darjeeling. Check in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Halt in Darjeeling during night time.
Early in the morning, at around 4.00 AM, visit Tiger Hill, a popular place to catch the first glimpse of sunrise and the Kangchenjunga. On your way back, halt at the beautiful Ghoom Monastery and interesting Batasia Loop. After breakfast, head for a half-day city tour that covers Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Centre (closed on Sunday), tea garden (outer view), Peace Pagoda, Japanese Temple and Darjeeling Ropeway (guest must buy their own ticket). In the afternoon, explore the local shopping markets of Darjeeling. Relax as you spend a peaceful night in Darjeeling.
Savour a scrumptious breakfast and transfer to Kalimpong. On arrival, check in at the hotel and rest for a while. Get set for a half-day city tour, which includes Mangal Dham, Deolo Hill, Dr. Graham's Homes, Durpin Dara Hill and the flower nursery. After this, head back to the hotel in Kalimpong for a peaceful night stay.
After a tasty breakfast, proceed to Gangtok. On arrival, check in at the hotel. In the afternoon, embark on a half-day city tour and visit interesting spots like Ban Jhakri Waterfall, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology (closed on Sunday), Dro-dul Chorten, Flower Exhibition Centre, etc. Relax during your night stay in Gangtok.
In the morning, get set for a half-day trip to Tsomgo Lake situated at about 40 kilometres from Gangtok. Perched at an altitude of 12,313 feet, this glacial lake reflects myriad colours based on the seasons. Next, visit Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir. In the afternoon, travel back to the hotel. Relax during your night stay at the hotel in Gangtok.
Your delightful tour ends today. In the morning, pack your belongings and get ready to leave the hotel. Have your breakfast and check out from the hotel. Travel to NJP railway station/Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey.
Your contract is with Sikkim Tourism Packages. A contract exists between us when we have confirmed you on our tour / hotel booking / or any other travel related services of your choice and we have received your booking request and deposits. All correspondence/s in respect of Tours / Travel Service bookings should be addressed to Sikkim Tourism Packages.
For the services contracted, 40 % advance payment should be made to hold the booking on a confirmed basis and the balance amount should be paid before commencement of your tour. We hold the right to decide upon the amount to be paid as an advance payment, based on the nature of services and the time left for the commencement of the services.
Payment can be made by Bank Transfer, Cash payment to our office or by Demand Draft / Cheque. All payments should be free and clear of any withholding tax and deduction. Bank charges, if any, for remittance (by remitting bank or by intermediary bank) would be strictly borne by payer.
Tour once commenced will strictly go as per the itinerary finalised. In case of events and circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to change all or parts of the contents of the itinerary for safety and well being of our esteemed passengers.
In case of cancellation of tour/travel services due to any avoidable/unavoidable reason/s we must be informed in writing. Cancellation charges would be effective from the date we receive letter in writing and cancellation charges would be as follows:
Please note – Irrespective of above mentioned cancellations slabs – in case of cancellation of tour services after the booking is made with us – a minimum 10% service charges would be applicable.
In case you cancel the trip after commencement refund would be restricted to a limited amount that too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation and missed meals etc. we do not bear any responsibility to refund.
In regard to refund of unused / unutilized services (which are paid for and cancelled in advance) the refund amount would be worked out on the basis of cancellation policy as described above and the money would be accordingly refunded to the person who has made the payment to us. Please note that the refund process may take 2 – 4 weeks due to banking procedures. If the refund is made to the credit card account OR to Bank account, the bank charges would be debited from the refund amount.
